The Television Bafta Awards took place last night at the Royal Festival Hall on London's Southbank. Celebrities were out on the red carpet in the sunshine to celebrate the best from the world of TV over the last year.
Fearne Cotton was one of my best dressed of the evening in a vintage gold gown with a cape style back from London store Rellik paired with Nicholas Kirwood heels. She wore her hair in a retro style wavy up do and completed her glamorous look with a black and gold clutch and red lips. Metallic's were popular on the red carpet with actress Emilia Fox also opting for gold. Her belted gown with a glittering mesh top was from William Vintage. Her hair was styled in an up do to show off her statement earrings.
Jenni Falconer looked red carpet ready in a shimmering gold floor length gown from Project D with cap sleeves. TV Presenter Zoe Hardman brought an injection of colour to the red carpet in this bright yellow Sofia Koh gown. The dress looked perfect in the London sunshine with soft tousled hair. She carried a sparkling gold clutch
'Made In Chelsea's' Millie Mackintosh attended with her fellow MIC cast members who were nominated in the 'Reality and Constructed Factual' category. Sadly they lost out to 'The Young Apprentice.' I've recently become hooked on 'Made In Chelsea' and was hoping they'd win! She wore a Grecian style white Lanvin dress with nude Lanvin heels and carried a matching clutch. She accessorised with a gold bangle. When I first started compiling these red carpet posts I never thought I'd be featuring the girls from 'The Only Way Is Essex' or 'Made In Chelsea' in my best dressed lists. Although there have been questionable fashion choices in the past on both reality shows I loved Millie's and Lydia's sartorial choices last night. TOWIE's Lydia Bright wore a silver floor length flowing gown by Amnesty with lace detailing. She accessorised with a silver clutch and her hair was styled in an up do with a crystal headband.
Former 'Coronation Street' star Katherine Kelly showed off her newly dark hair on the red carpet in this couture gown by Marina Qureshi. I loved the black chiffon fabric draped over the dress. Kelly Brook opted for this Chantilly lace dress by Jacques Azagury. It featured beaded embellishments over a nude body with a pleated and layered tulle ballerina style skirt. She wore navy and cream strappy heels and carried a navy box clutch.
Did you watch the Baftas last night?

Ahh don't worry they're mostly UK based! The yellow dress really did stand out and looked perfect for this hot weather we've been having! x
DeleteI LOVED Fearne's outfit! I love her. And Corrie's Becky always looks stunning off screen as opposed to her on screen alter ego. Oh, and I hate all to do with reality shows, such as Made in Chelsea. <3
ReplyDeleteYeah she looks so different compared to Becky's fashion sense! x
DeleteFearne looks absolutely beautiful, I love her hair! And Lydia is my current fashion icon, she always looks perfect!
ReplyDeleteLydia keeps being snapped in the most gorgeous outfits! x
DeleteI loved Millie's outfit so much, definitely the best dressed of the MIC girls, and she looked so cute with Professor Green ^ - ^ x
ReplyDeleteFearne looked absolutely stunning, I'm loving her vintage glamour look. She can do no wrong in my eyes :) xx
ReplyDelete.. and mine! x
DeleteDon't even like Fearne cotton but I have to say she definitely stole the show. There are no dresses out there like Vintage dresses and NOBODY ELSE IN THE WORLD will have same dress on! And Katherine Kelly looks absolutely GORGEOUS with dark hair. Sad as this sounds I'm gunna miss seeing her on Corrie, she proper made it comical, the rest of the cast try TOO hard to be funny (like that weird Norris and Mary double act thing)

Fearne always has such great Vintage finds, and like you said no danger of running into someone else wearing the same! Haha me too I loved Becky, especially the scenes when she was working in the cafe with Roy! x

I love Kelly's dress - I really like that she hasn't gone for the typical red carpet gown. The bad news is, I really hate Millie's gown, it's a bit to bed sheet for me!

I love Fearne Cotton's dress, it's gorgeous and suits her so well. I never thought I'd be saying this about a bright yellow dress, but Zoe Hardman's dress is so pretty and I love the colour!
