Floral prints were a key trend on the Spring/Summer catwalks with designers including Mary Katrantzou renowned for her striking prints showcasing bold and bright floral pieces including these colourful two tone floral trousers, whilst Erdem worked its classic signature floral blooms with pretty patterned separates.
Floral trousers have fast become a celebrity favourite too. The always stylish Olivia Palermo was snapped at London Fashion Week in tropical Topshop trousers she styled with a simple yellow tee, blazer and leopard print heels.
Whilst Beyonce was spotted in NYC last month wearing Stella McCartney floral print trousers cinched in with a bright pink belt and pointy neon yellow heels.
There's a wide choice of styles available on the high street to suit your shape and budget. I like the cigarette pant style which is tapered just above the ankle providing a flattering fit.
Style your floral trousers with a plain top, a pastel coloured blouse will help to break up the pattern, and ballet flats during the day. Change into some pointy heels in the evening for a more glamorous look. If you're feeling bolder wear your florals with clashing prints.
Are you a fan of floral print trousers?
How would you style them?
Some of these pairs of trousers are so pretty, they'd look great in summer. I don't know if I could pull them off though! xx

Most definitely!!! Can't argue with good florals! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the first pair of warehouse trousers, they're so nice. If I was brave enough I'd style them with a clashing print but as I'm not that brave I'd probably keep it simple to with a plain tee or a thin cropped jumper :) xx
ReplyDeleteWow you've found such a lot of gorgeous pairs! I'm usually not a fan of trousers but my love for florals might sway me here ha-ha! Love the Dorothy perkins pair (number 10)
