With Easter Sunday next weekend I thought I'd share some of the tasty Easter treats I've spotted. They'd make great gifts as well as a lovely chocolate treat for yourself!
My favourite pink pig Percy would make an ideal present for fellow Percy Pig fans. He's made from white chocolate and flavoured with dried raspberries and strawberry.
I'm a big fan of the Hummingbird Bakery, I try to pop in whenever I'm in London for one of their delicious cakes. These Easter decorated cupcakes look really tasty, especially the ones with mini eggs on top! You can also buy individual Easter cupcakes in their stores.
This 71% dark chocolate egg holds caramel truffles inside that are infused with sea salt. I've yet to try caramel and sea salt (apart from in a macaron, thank you Ladurée! ) but it seems to be a popular combination lately!
If you're looking for something a bit different from a chocolate egg these egg shaped biscuits are decorated with a range of lovely designs and come in an Easter tin making them an ideal gift.
I always have to visit Hotel Chocolat near Easter to look longingly at their amazing eggs! This extra thick egg is a real treat for chocoholics. One half of the egg is studded with crispy rice, chocolate chunks and cookie pieces whilst the other is a layer of caramel chocolate over a base of milk chocolate. Nestled inside is a selection of chocolates including little solid bunnies and chicks.
This sweet collection of spring time ducks and bunnies in milk and white chocolate would make a lovely gift or a nice little treat for yourself, it'd be hard trying not to eat them all at once!
Are you hoping the Easter bunny leaves you a treat?
