Following their sell out designer collaborations with Versace and Lanvin to name but a few, high street giants H&M are set to launch a capsule line from one of my current favourite brands, Marni. I loved the mix of patterns and simple silhouettes showcased in their stunning A/W'12 collection in Milan recently.
Their collection for H&M features Marni's signature clashing geometric prints and bold colours. There's Marni inspired plastic jewellery in bright colours alongside other accessories including patterned silk scarves and bags perfect for summer day trips and there's a menswear line too.

I love the mixture of patterns and colours which are ideal for summer. The collection is easy to wear, the pieces can be worn as separates or layered together in true Marni style.
The colourful silk top is a simple way to add some colour blocking into your outfit. The patterned silk tops and trousers are in keeping with the current pyjama trend which looks a lot easier to pull off in warmer weather! The statement necklaces and sequined collars are the perfect accessory to add to an outfit to update it for the season and give it a new lease of life.
The collection launches Thursday 8th March at 9am online at H&M and will be available to buy in selected stores
Are you mad for Marni?
Caroline, I don't live close by to an H&M and so whenever I go on holiday, I try to go somewhere where I can get to one! I went yesterday for the first time in close to a year and was super disappointed I didn't go next weekend so I could see all the Marni stuffz!

I'm a big fan of the Marni collection, can't wait until it hits stores this thursday!
ReplyDeleteI love Marni! And I love the fact H&M and collaborates with every decent designer! I think I'm going to try and get my backside down there and see if I can bag anything. Maybe one day H&M will make my dreams come true and do a Chanel collaboration? (unlikely!)

I love the colours and textures - the maxi dress + brown bag definitely stand out to me- but I have to say I'm put off by the prices, obviously you're paying for a slightly designer item but it still makes me wince! Guess I'm just too attached to my budget buys :p
