What They Wore... The Baftas

The Bafta Awards celebrating the world of film were held in London on Sunday evening. Many of Hollywood's acting elite were in attendance.

Fearne Cotton co-hosted the red carpet coverage for the E! channel in a salmon coloured Moschino dress. Her outfit was one of my favourites on the night. I really liked the black bow belt and jewelled detailing around the collar. Her hair was styled in bouncy waves.

'Pan Am' star Christina Ricci opted for full on Hollywood glamour in a bronze wrap dress from Givenchy's Couture collection. She accessorised with diamond jewellery. Her bright red lips and blunt fringe completed her glamorous red carpet look.

Emilia Fox wore a tiered Luisa Beccaria gown in glimmering gold. She carried a gold Diane Von Furstenberg clutch and showed off her fiery red locks in loose curls.

Meryl Streep looked stunning on the red carpet in a black Vivienne Westwood gown styled with a sparkling black corset belt and jacket to shelter her from the cold London chill. She picked up the Bafta for 'Best Actress' for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in 'The Iron Lady'.

Michelle Williams surprised the press turning up in a monochrome dress designed by high street giants H&M. The bespoke gown from their conscious collection featured a black corsage on the waist. She carried an Arthur Miller book clutch designed by Olympia Le-Tan in tribute to Marilyn Monroe whom she portrayed in 'My Week With Marilyn'.

'Bridesmaids' star Kristen Wiig wore a flowing white silk Alberta Ferretti strapless gown with a gathered waist detail. Though simple in design the dress looked gorgeous on her and perfect for the red carpet.

Livia Firth walked the red carpet alongside husband Colin. She wore a black trouser suit made from organic wool and silk created by Paul Smith as part of her green carpet challenge. Her quest for more eco friendly fashion saw husband Colin and 'Shame' star Michael Fassbender appearing in eco Armani tuxedos. A green sparkling clutch by Roger Vivier and Cartier earrings finished her stylish look.

Star of 'The Help,' Viola Davis was also on board with Livia Firth's green style campaign and showcased an eco friendly creation by Valentino. The pink gown was created from recycled materials. She showed off her legs with a thigh high split which also revealed her Jimmy Choo sandals.
